Green Festival Launches in NYC on Earth Day Weekend
Saturday: 10 AM to 7 PM Sunday: 11 AM to 6 PM New York Green Festival will offer not only an incredible sense of community but also the largest, most diverse and most trusted place for learning, shopping and having fun. New York Green Festival will feature: - an organic, vegetarian and vegan food court
- an environmental film installation presented by the Sierra Club
- an everyday eco-fashion show
- hands-on DIY workshops; live music
- an organic beer and wine garden
- and, an incredible Green Marketplace featuring products and services from local, regional and national green and sustainable businesses and organizations.
New York Green Festival is renowned for its rich and inspiring keynote presentations, workshops, demonstrations, visual installations and interactive fun. You’ll find a weekend packed with local, national and internationally acclaimed social and environmental authors, leaders and experts and cultural icons. From kids’ interactive programming to hands-on DIY demonstrations to uplifting keynote addresses from national heroes, this is the New York City event to attend in celebration of Earth Day 2012.
